Actor Vijay, has proved that he is not just an onscreen hero and can protect fans in real life too. In a video that has surfaced on internet from the sets of his upcoming untitled film, Thalapathy 63, he is seen rushing to protect fans from a falling fence.
Vijay was shooting the film in SRM University in the outskirts of Chennai where several fans had rushed to the spot to get a glimpse of the star. Vijay can be seen waving at his fans, who went into a frenzy when he stepped closer and pushed the metal fence they were standing behind. Initially, Vijay is seen astonished but soon gathered his senses and rushed to stop the fence from falling.

Vijay is shooting for Atlee’s film opposite Nayanthara in Chennai. He is reportedly playing Michael, the coach of a women’s team and 16 women will star as sports players in the film. He recently underwent training by a special physical trainer to get into the skin of the role.
The film, being produced by AGS Entertainment, was launched in November 2018 in Chennai and the shooting began in January this year. It also stars Kathir, Yogi Babu and Vivek in crucial roles.
Nayanthara, who was last seen in the hit film Viswasam, is working with Vijay for the second time after Prabhudeva directed, Villu. Vijay on the other hand, was last seen in AR Murugadoss’s Sarkar.
