British beauty Elizabeth Hurley was left "mortified" at the Chopard party in Cannes recently, when an Italian woman started ranting about fiance Arun Nayar.
British beauty Elizabeth Hurley was left "mortified" at the Chopard party in Cannes recently, when an Italian woman started ranting about fiancé Arun Nayar.
According to reports, the woman, who is said to have consumed one drink to many, told Hurley that Nayar was back in contact with his ex-wife Valentina Pedroni.
"I've heard your boyfriend is back in contact with his ex-wife," the Mirror quoted the woman, as telling Hurley.
A source at the party revealed that the 'Bedazzled' star had been left embarrassed about the "unproved" attack.
"Liz was mortified. She was having a great night and this attack was completely unprovoked. Luckily, security kicked her to the kerb," the source added.
"The mere idea that he is back in contact with Valentina after their rather turbulent divorce is very painful to hear. But Liz knew the annoying guest was trying to get a rise out of her and she didn't react in any diva-like way," the source added.
