New Parliament by October, Central Vista Avenue by mid-June: Union minister

The construction work of Central Vista Avenue was to be completed before the Republic Day parade.

Mother Teresa birth anniversary: Union minister Hardeep Puri pays tribute

In 1950, Mother Teresa founded the Roman Catholic religious congregation which later went on to be known as Missionaries of Charity. During her life, she set up many homes for the poor, needy, those dying from AIDS, leprosy and tuberculosis all over India.

Mother Teresa came to India in 1929 and took her first religious vows on 24 May 1931.

On Monday, Delhi deputy CM Manish Sisodia alleged that the Modi government is spending money on advertisements instead of vaccinating the people of the country. Today, Union minister Hardeep Puri said Delhi has over 11 lakh doses of vaccine but administered only 76,259 jabs to beneficiaries.

Govt hikes lower fare band by 5%, may impact domestic flight ticket prices

Scheduled international commercial flights continue to remain suspended, while overseas flights under air bubble agreements and the Vande Bharat Mission are operational, among others.
