10 dead, 251  injured in toxic gas leak in Jordan's Aqaba port 

The Public Security Directorate said a gas tank sprung a leak while being transported. It did not identify the contents of the tanker.

UAE, Jordan, Maldives join list of nations condemning comments on Prophet

  • In a statement, the UAE's foreign ministry expressed “its denunciation and rejection of insults of the Prophet Muhammad”. It affirmed the UAE's firm rejection of all practices and behaviours that “contradict moral and human values and principles”.

Dadan is mentioned in the Old Testament and the Lihyanite kingdom was one of the largest of its time, stretching from Medina in the South to Aqaba in the north in modern-day Jordan
