All three 2019-nCoV cases in India have been reported in Kerala among students who returned from China’s Wuhan, which is the epicentre of the outbreak.

Kerala waits for NIV reports to discharge both virus-negative patients

The first patient’s (a woman student from Thrissur) samples proved negative at least five times and the second one thrice.

In Kerala, Congress, CPI(M) to jointly protest against new citizenship law

After Friday prayers many Muslim organizations have taken out processions in various parts of the state against the legislation. Big rallies were held in Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode and Kasargode. The Social Democratic Party of India, the political wing of the Popular Front of India, has announced a statewide shutdown on December 17.

Saudi Arabia arrests 2 for links to Lanka bombing plotter on Indian intel

Officers in Indian security agencies say they are already in touch with their Saudi Arabian counterparts to find out on any links between the IS cadres responsible for the Sri Lanka attacks and Kasargode (Kerala)-Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu) module in India, with Colombo on the verge of sending a team to Saudi Arabia.

Video of false voting in Kerala goes viral, polling officer orders probe

In the video, which was later picked up by Malayalam news channels, some people were seen indulging in bogus voting with the connivance of poll officials.

Shutdown in Kerala over murder of 2 Youth Congress workers

The Congress party has alleged Kripesh, 21, and Sharath Lal, 24, were waylaid and hacked to death by a group of CPI(M) workers.

Sabarimala Temple row Highlights: KSRTC bus services to Kerala have been resumed

Widespread violence was reported across Kerala as a shutdown began on Thursday, day after two women under the age of 50 managed to enter the Sabarimala temple.The BJP had called for a two-day protest against the women’s entry in the Sabarimala temple under police protection.  On Wednesday, angry protestors blocked roads in many parts of the state. Police caned protestors in Kasargode, Palakkad, Kollam and many other places. A group of women jumped a barricade and came close to the CM’s office in the state capital, but were overpowered.
