Offering namaz at public places will not be tolerated: Haryana CM Khattar

“Such programmes (namaz) should not be held in the open. This practice of offering namaz at public spaces will not be tolerated as it is leading to controversies and confrontations,” said Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar in Gurugram.

Namaz row in Gurugram: Police complaint against three Hindu group leaders

A member of a Muslim group in Gurugram on Tuesday filed a police complaint against three members of different Hindu groups for allegedly hurting religious sentiments with their remarks, while protesting against namaz in the open on Fridays.
