PGCIL upgrades 10 Army schools in Kashmir under CSR

State-run Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL) on Monday dedicated upgraded and digitized ten Army Goodwill Schools (AGS) at Uri in Kashmir, the company said in a statement.

Schools, colleges continue to remain closed, no on-site classes in J&K

  • The Covid-19 containment measures in force in Jammu and Kashmir like night curfew and no on-site classes at educational institutions will continue for the coming week as well, officials said after a review of the pandemic situation.

Amid shutdown, schools in Kashmir Valley home deliver lessons

Kashmir was put under a lockdown on August 5 ahead of the abrogation of Article 370, with no communication services. Since then, students have mostly remained away from schools.
