Snake slithers away with slipper. Video amuses some, irks others

The video of a snake slithering away with a slipper was posted on Twitter.

A video of a snake slithering away with a piece of slipper has created a buzz among people. IFS officer Parveen Kaswan posted the video on Twitter. While the clip left some giggling, others were not so amused.

“I wonder what this snake will do with that chappal. He got no legs,” he tweeted. He also added that the location of the incident is unknown. The video opens to show a snake in the middle of a road. Within moments, it comes across a slipper and ends up slithering away with it.

The video was shared a day ago. Since being posted, the clip has accumulated more than 2.8 lakh views and the numbers are only increasing. The share has further gathered more than 8,100 likes. People posted various comments while reacting to the video. Some people tweeted that the video left them laughing. A few expressed that the snake is probably in distress as it is possible that the reptile’s fangs got stuck onto the slipper.

“The footage definitely looks hilarious but snakes never grab and run(slither)away with chappals. I guess the chappal got stuck to its fangs. What would he do?,” wrote a Twitter user. “Loved the reflexes of the beautiful snake… Fast and furious,” posted another. “Nice capture,” praised a third.
