Joe Rogan has reacted to Charlie Kirk’s death. The 58-year-old learned about the activist's assassination while taping his latest podcast episode with actor Charlie Sheen. The podcaster was seen stunned in silence after the news broke. He was visibly distraught after his producer told him that the 31-year-old Turning Point USA founder had been shot dead.

Charlie Kirk, a conservative American activist and an ally of President Donald Trump, was killed by a rooftop sniper on Wednesday while speaking at Utah Valley University in Orem. According to a Reuters report, he was killed by a single gunshot while delivering a speech.

“So this just happened, we just found out that Charlie Kirk got shot,” Rogan said. “It’s a f****d up time. People are so divided in this country,” he added. Rogan, who could never interview the late activist, recalled meeting him once at a gun range.
“He’s not a violent guy, he’s talking to people on college campuses. He wasn’t even particularly rude, tried to be pretty reasonable with people. He’s a very intelligent guy, whether you agree with him or don’t, and there’s a lot of stuff that I didn’t agree with him on,” Rogan said.
The gunshot that resulted in Kirk’s death seemingly came from a distant rooftop at the university campus. The FBI said that the assassin had jumped off the roof of the building and fled into a neighborhood after firing the shot, Associated Press reported.

Reuters report further added that the officials said that security camera footage showed a person going up stairwells to reach the roof before firing at Kirk. Meanwhile, Donald Trump mourned Kirk’s assassination, calling it “a dark moment for America.” The late activist had previously served as a personal aide to the president’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., during the general election campaign.
