As Modi, Macron unveil H125 helicopters assembly line, Rajnath lauds private sector push in defence

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh welcomed French counterpart and said India and France will mark a milestone in their strategic partnership as Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Emmanuel Macron digitally unveil the final assembly line for H125 helicopters. Singh said the project—by Tata Advanced Systems and Airbus Helicopters—aligns with Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat, highlighting reforms to expand private-sector participation in defence production, growth in defence exports, and the expanding MSME ecosystem supporting manufacturing.
