DDMA announced that no Holi celebration will be held in public places in Delhi amid rising Covid-19 cases. Random testing of Covid-19 will be held at Delhi airport, railway, and bus stations. In Mumbai, a similar announcement was made by BMC. BMC announced that celebrating Holi in public places is prohibited. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) announced fresh guidelines amid rising cases. The Centre said that States and UTs can impose local restrictions to contain Covid spread.
