Donald Trump halts US funding to WHO for ‘covering spread of coronavirus’

US President Donald Trump directed a halt to US payments to the World Health Organization. Trump said the outbreak could have been contained if the agency had done a better job investigating reports coming out of China. Trump claimed the organization failed to carry out its 'basic duty'.
