B-Town reacts on Sachin Rajya Sambha nomination

B-Towners expressed a lot of excitement over the nomination of Indian batting great 'Sachin Tendulkar' for the Rajya Sabha. They hoped that like his cricketing career he would also have a successful one in the field of politics. It was only yesterday that his name was announced after he met UPA Chief Sonia Gandhi. His name was referred by PM Manmohan Singh to the President of India who using some special powers approved his name.
