Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal commented on evacuations being carried out in low lying areas of the national capital after the Yamuna river breached the danger mark. Kejriwal said that temporary tents had been set up to allow people who live along the river's banks to move. The CM said that while people had suffered loss of property, there was thankfully no loss of lives. He also expressed hope that the water level would soon recede.
