Kejriwal announces cheaper onions in Delhi at ration shops, mobile vans from 28 Sep

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday announced that the state government will sell onion at the rate of Rs.23.90 per kg. Starting 28 September, onions will be available at 400 rations shops and through 70 mobile vans, Kejriwal said. Onion prices touched around Rs 80 per kg due to low production in the monsoon season. Government of India provided onion at Krishi Bhavan on September 24 at the rate of Rs 22 per kg.
