Modi arrives in Kathmandu to attend BIMSTEC summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached at Nepal's Kathmandu on Thursday. PM Modi was accorded ceremonial welcome upon arrival. Modi is on a two day visit to Nepal to attend the 4th BIMSTEC summit. The seven Bimstec member states are expected to announce a connectivity master plan and step up counter-terror cooperation during the summit. An announcement about setting up of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation is also expected.
