Gandhi Jayanti: Nitin Gadkari launches cow dung soaps, bamboo bottles

Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Nitin Gadkari launched special sales campaign of Khadi and Village Industries Commission. Gadkari launched cow dung soaps and bamboo bottles. The bamboo bottles of 700-900 ml capacity have been made by a Tripura-based organisation. Gadkari said that khadi and village industries were very close to Gandhiji's heart. The Union minister also launched low-priced sanitary napkins. The napkins were manufactured in Chandigarh by a Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) unit.
