Open to alliance if Cong agrees seat sharing offer: Omar Abdullah

Omar Abdullah is open to an alliance with the Congress if the latter agreed to National Conference's seat sharing formula for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The leader of National Conference said that they received an offer from the Congress. Speaking to the media on the sidelines of a party function in Anantnag district, Abdullah said: “It's true that we had received a proposal from Congress for alliance in J&K for Lok Sabha polls. But we've told them clearly that only National Conference candidates will contest on 3 seats in the valley.”
