Watch: Snow clearance operation underway after Mughal road blocked in J&K

Higher reaches of Pir Panjal range in Jammu and Kashmir received heavy snowfall. A thick blanket of snow engulfed the Mughal Road in Rajouri district. Snow clearance operation by local authority took place on the Mughal Road. Heavy snowfall has led to a dip in the temperature over the past few days. Mughal road connects south Kashmir's Shopian to Rajouri and Poonch districts.
