Train 18’s trial run to be held on Bareilly-Moradabad section

Indian Railways' Train 18 is India's first engine-less train. The train's first trial run will be conducted on November 17. Trial will be conducted on Bareilly-Moradabad section on standard railway track. RDSO team has also reached Moradabad for the trial run. Train 18 is driven by a self-propulsion module sans a separate locomotive (engine). Train 18 or T18, is capable of running at a speed of up to 160 kmph. Train 18 is also designed with quick acceleration.
