Watch | Cyclone Vardah moving towards coastal districts

Severe cyclonic storm Vardah is likely to hit north Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh coast, close to Chennai, by this afternoon. High alert has been sounded across coastal areas of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh ahead of the cyclonic storm 'Vardah.' As the cyclone advances, people have been asked to stay indoors as a precautionary measure. Educational institutions in four districts will remain closed for today.
