3 day annual sports festival kicks off

Hundreds of sports persons descended on Punjab, to put to test their sporting skills at a three-day rural sports extravaganza. The sports extravaganza commenced at Parsarampur village near Jalandhar in Punjab, on November 21. The dog race, which saw the participation of about 55 foreign-bred dogs, was the centre of attraction on the first day of the sports extravaganza. Dogs provided delightful thrills to the spectators and pride to their owners.
