Advani seeks clemency for Sarabjit

Senior leader of India's main opposition party BJP, Lal Krishna Advani said that he has written to Pakistan's new Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani seeking clemency for Sarabjit Singh, Indian prisoner lodged in Pakistan for spying. Advani wrote the letter to the Yousuf Raza Gillani on April 6 and followed it up with a telephone call seeking clemency for Sarabjit.
