Bangladesh Rivers give and take away life

The mighty rivers that give Bangladesh life are slowly taking it back again. Hundreds of families living along the banks of the Padma and other rivers have to uproot themselves before the monsoon rains starts in the region. The powerful water erodes their homes and land. The Padma River has even taken its toll on previously strong standing mosques and shrines.
