Cyclone Phailin cripples life, leaves thousands homeless in eastern India

The flood situation in Odisha, triggered by cyclone Phailin and resultant heavy rains, continued to make life challenging for the locals as the major rivers are flowing above the danger mark, leaving about one lakh people marooned.
