India blasts Thackeray for taking on Tendulkar

More and more support is pouring in for India's ace batsman Sachin Tendulkar after radical Hindu party Shiv Sena's leader slammed him for his "I am an Indian first" comment. Shiv Sena party's mentor, Balasaheb Thackeray, pointed an accusing finger at Tendulkar for what he termed as relegating Maharashtra, his native state. Former wicketkeeper and national selector Kiran More said that Tendulkar must not be belittled as he was a brand ambassador of the country.
