Irom Sharmila completes 11 years of hunger strike

A hunger strike that has gone on for 11 years. Thats the story of Manipur's Iron lady, Irom Sharmila. Steadfast in her demand to repeal AFSPA from the state. Her supporters, under the banner of the group Save Democracy Repeal AFSPA are holding protests across 25 cities nationwide; with a 1-day hunger strike.In no mood to relent. Sharmila has tossed the ball into the courts of the authorities.
