Italian marines issue: Govt pats self, Opposition hails SC

The Congress-led UPA government on Friday credited its diplomatic network for facilitating the return of the two Italian marines accused of shooting Indian fishermen dead while opposition parties said it was because of the stern stance by the country's Supreme Court.
