Announcement of the financial aid by the Board of Control for Cricket in India brings hope for both Cricket Association and the players in Jammu & Kashmir. The Board has announced grant of one billion rupees for building two stadiums and 50 million rupees for setting up two academies in the state, one for Jammu and one for Srinagar. The initiative has kindled new hope among the budding cricket talent in the state.
