Laws can be amended to boost trade with India: Bangladesh

Aiming to boost bilateral relations and trade ties, Commerce Minister of Bangladesh Mohammad Faruk Khan on Sunday said, in case of legal hassles, he would ensure the laws are suitably amended to avoid trade disruption between the two countries. Khan was in Shillong to take part in delegation-level talks on trade ties between the two nations. Also present at the event was Meghalaya Chief Minister Mukul Sangma, who said Indian government is planning to invest in road and railways trade routes to overcome the infrastructural bottlenecks in the region.
