Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked the Reserve Bank of India to prepare a roadmap for the next 20 years that promotes financial inclusion in the country. Modi was speaking at the Financial Inclusion Conference organised in Mumbai to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Thursday. Modi also emphasized the need to take geographical parameters into consideration along with economic and social parameters for financial inclusion, at the event were Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan were also present.
