'Rakhis' to save trees

School children tied rakhis or designer threads on trees, ahead of a sibling festival, which celebrates the relationship between brothers and sisters, to save forests. "Rakhis" or sacred threads are tied by sister to their brothers' on Rakshabandhan day as a token of love wishing them prosperity and happiness while the latter on their part pledge to protect her honour.
