Senior leaders welcome Munda as deputy speaker

PM Dr Manmohan Singh and Lok Sabha opposition leader L K Advani expressed their happiness over the selection of Karia Munda as Deputy Speaker of Lok Sabha. Kariya Munda, a tribal leader from Jharkhand was elected unanimously for this post on Monday. The BJP was confident that that the two together would run smoothly the business of the House.
