Situation in quake-hit areas to be under control soon: Indian Army

NC Singh, the senior Indian Army Commander currently overseeing rescue and salvage operations in the earthquake-affected areas in Sikkim, assured on Tuesday that the situation would gradually return to normal due to the sustained efforts of the authorities. Singh added that restoring the connectivity of roads and electric supply remained the priority areas for the rescue teams.
