Taxi, autos and bus fares revised

Public conveyance in the capital just got costlier. The Delhi government has revised taxis, auto and bus fares. At a meeting of the state cabinet, the minimum fare for buses was increased from Rs 2 to Rs 3, but the maximum fare of Rs 10 remained unchanged. However, there is good news for students. During the admission season monthly bus passes will continue to cost Rs 12.50.
