Tourists throng to picturesque Kashmir valley

As the winter comes, the landscape in Kashmir comes alive with tourists thronging the valley in large numbers to enjoy the winter chill. Commonly referred to as the 'Switzerland of the East', the valley has always enchanted the visitors. Tourists from across the country are enjoying the houseboats and the Shikara rides on the Dal Lake. As far as the businessmen are concerned, climate seems to be conspiring in their favor.
