Tulips from Kashmir set to flood the national markets

Tulips from Kashmir are all set to flood the national markets soon. The government is encouraging their commercial plantation with the hope of boosting the local economy and generating employment for the local youth. A pilot project for this purpose has been started by the Floriculture Department in the Famous Tulip Gardens in Srinagar on an experimental basis. Tulips grown here will be available in various markets across the Country.
