Iran has issued a fresh warning to Donald Trump and U.S. allies, with senior security official Mohsen Rezaei threatening what he described as an “earthquake-like” retaliation if Washington takes further military or economic action against Tehran. Rezaei also warned neighboring countries against joining the U.S. economic campaign, saying Iran could target their interests and block oil exports through the Strait of Hormuz. His remarks came alongside renewed accusations that U.S. military action had increased nuclear insecurity, as Tehran defended its commitments under international safeguards and the NPT.
