Big infiltration bid on Uri attack anniversary, Army's search enters 3rd day

Indian Army forces hunt for a group of terrorists who may have sneaked into Uri along the LoC. Army troops launched the combing operation after detection of suspicious movement along LoC. The massive search operation was launched on the intervening night of September 18 and 19. Mobile telephony and internet services have been suspended in Uri sector. The operation is going on and a high alert has been sounded for the army camps located in the area. This is believed to be the biggest infiltration attempt by terrorists from across the LoC in recent years.
