Covid update: More than 50 crore vaccinated in India; 1 lakh daily cases in U.S

India has vaccinated more than 50 crore people during last 8 months, of which more than 11 crore have got both doses while the rest have received single shot. With cases witnessing a sharp decline, Delhi government has decided to lift curbs on weekly markets in the national capital to provide relief to poor. Meanwhile, cases are again surging in United States after a dip in June. The U.S is recording 1 lakh cases a day as delta variant surges infections in the country.
