Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu has landed himself in a new controversy just days ahead of the Punjab Assembly elections. Sidhu's sister, Suman Toor, described him as a 'cruel person' alleging that Sidhu had deserted their old mother, Mrs Nirmal Bhagwant, after their father's death. She claimed that Sidhu had cold-heartedly left their mother and she passed away as a destitute woman on a railway station in 1989. At a press conference in Chandigarh, she said that he had driven her and their mother out of the house in 1986 to grab the property. Watch full video.
