'Even person wearing hawai chappal…’: Scindia on Modi govt's aviation plans

Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia spoke extensively on India's aviation plan. Scindia said that the union govt has aimed to provide an affordable air travel facility. The minister added that even a person 'wearing slippers' could avail the travel facility. Scindia said new airports opened in many smaller cities and air services began on new routes. Scindia was given charge of the civil aviation ministry after his induction into the Modi-led Union cabinet last month. The BJP leader started a three-day 'Jan Ashirwad Yatra' from Tuesday to reach out to people. Scindia's tour in the Malwa & Nimar regions of western MP ended in Indore on Thursday.
