India on Israel-Palestine conflict: Ruchira Kamboj says, ‘No alternative to two-state solution’

India reiterates its stand on a two-state solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict at the UN. Indian Ambassador to the UN, Ruchira Kamboj, said that India is deeply concerned over the killing of innocent civilians in violence at the west bank, Gaza, and Jerusalem. Kamboj said that dialogue is the only way to guarantee lasting peace between Israel and Palestine. According to the UN's Middle East envoy, over 150 Palestinians and over 20 Israelis have been killed in the West Bank and Israel so far in 2022, the highest number of deaths in years.
