On June 15 2020, India lost 20 soldiers during clashes with Chinese Army in Ladakh’s Galwan valley. On the anniversary of the clashes, the Indian army paid homage to those who did the supreme sacrifice for the country. Tributes poured in for the martyrs from all across the country and politics also intensified. Congress chief Sonia Gandhi released a statement targeting Prime Minister Modi and demanding clarity in light of PM’s statement last year in which he had said that nobody entered the Indian Territory.
