Jaish terrorists, who killed BJP leader, gunned down in encounter in J&K's Tral

Three Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in J&K. One of the slain terrorists was identified as Wakeel Shah, who killed a BJP leader in June. BJP's Rakesh Pandita, a municipal councillor of Tral, was killed by terrorists on June 2. Pandita was visiting a friend, Mushtaq Ahmad, when three terrorists opened fire at them. Officials said that the Saturday's encounter broke out in south Kashmir's Pulwama district. Security forces launched a cordon & search operation in the forest area of Nagbaeran Tral. Officials said the operation was launched following inputs about the presence of terrorists in the area. They said the search operation turned into an encounter after terrorists fired upon the forces and they retaliated.
