After banning wheat export in May, India has tweaked its export policy for wheat-related products. The decision was taken after some traders were found violating the government's May 13 ban on private exports of the grain. The export of wheat flour, refined flour, semolina, wholemeal aata and resultant aata will face restrictions from July 12. Traders have been asked to seek permission before exporting the commodity.
