Union Minister of Commerce Piyush Goyal on Tuesday said the controversial remarks of former spokesperson of BJP Nupur Sharma on Prophet Mohammad will not affect the country’s good relations with Gulf countries. Talking to newsmen in Kochi the minister, who is on a two-day visit to the port city, said the party has taken action against two leaders (Nupur Sharma and Naveen Jindal) for their remarks and foreign office issued a clarification on this. He said there was no need of any apprehension to expatriate community as the country’s strong ties with Gulf Co-operation Council countries were intact. Watch the video for more.
