Oscars Slapgate: Academy accepts Will Smith’s resignation; Action likely

Actor Will Smith and comedian Chris Rock slapgate is getting bigger. Will Smith has now resigned from the prestigious Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for smacking Chris Rock at the Oscars. Smith tendered his resignation and said that he will accept any further consequences the Board deems appropriate. Smith also said that his actions at the 94th Academy Awards were shocking, painful & inexcusable. The Academy has now accepted his resignation and warned that his troubles won’t end soon.
