PM Modi announces Covid booster doses, vaccination for kids from January 2022

In a surprise address to the nation on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced Covid-19 vaccination for children between the age group of 15-18. The Covid vaccine for children will be made available from January 3, 2022. PM Modi also said that precautionary doses will be administered to frontline workers and senior citizens amid the rising Omicron scare.
