Defence minister Rajnath Singh said that terrorism & radicalisation are 'gravest threats' to peace, security. He added that a collective approach is required to combat the challenges. Singh was virtually speaking at ASEAN Defence Ministers' Meeting-Plus (ADMM-Plus). “Terrorism & radicalisation are the gravest threats to world's peace, security. India believes a collective cooperation is needed to combat terrorism challenges. As a member of FATF, India remains committed to combat financing of terrorism. Cyber threats loom large as demonstrated by incidents of ransomware, etc,” he said. The ADMM-Plus is a platform comprising 10-nation ASEAN & its eight dialogue partners. ADMM-Plus aims to strengthen security & defence cooperation in the region. The inaugural ADMM-Plus was convened in Vietnam's Hanoi in 2010.
